At Active Pedal Shop, we stand behind our cycling gear just like we stand behind every pedal stroke you take. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’ll make it right. Here’s everything you need to know about our hassle-free returns and exchanges process.

Our Return Policy

We accept returns within 15 days of receiving your order. To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused and in their original packaging
  • All tags and protective covers must be intact
  • A proof of purchase is required

Non-Returnable Items

For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Bike Helmets (after removal of tags or protective liners)
  • Bike Multi-Tools (if packaging has been opened)
  • Bike Floor Pumps (if used or missing components)
  • Any items marked as “Final Sale”

Note: Action cameras and bike computers may only be returned if factory seals are intact.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

Step 1: Contact Us

Email our customer service team at [email protected] with:

  • Your order number
  • Item(s) you wish to return/exchange
  • Reason for return
  • Whether you prefer a refund or exchange
Subject: Return/Exchange Request – Order #[Your Order Number] Dear Active Pedal Shop Team, I would like to request a [return/exchange] for my recent order #[Your Order Number]. Item(s) for return/exchange: – [Product Name] – [Quantity] – [Reason for return/exchange] I would prefer: [Refund to original payment method / Exchange for (specify product)] Please advise on next steps. Step 2: Receive Return Authorization

Within 1-2 business days, we’ll email you:

  • A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
  • Return shipping instructions
  • Our return address in Moore, Oklahoma

Step 3: Ship Your Return

Package your items securely including:

  • Original packaging and all accessories
  • A copy of your order confirmation
  • The RMA number clearly visible on the package

Important: We recommend using a trackable shipping service. Active Pedal Shop is not responsible for lost return packages.

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Timing: Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days after receipt
  • Method: Funds will be returned to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable (unless the return is due to our error)

Note: Depending on your financial institution, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement.

Exchanges

For exchanges of equal value:

  • We’ll ship your new item once we receive the return
  • For size/color exchanges of bike accessories, contact us first for availability

For exchanges of higher value:

  • You’ll be charged the difference after we process your return

International Returns

For our global customers (excluding certain Asian and remote regions):

  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
  • Customs fees are non-refundable
  • Please mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid additional charges

Damaged or Defective Items

If your cycling gear arrives damaged or defective:

  • Contact us immediately at [email protected]
  • Include photos of the damage and packaging
  • We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost
